Welcome to the new website of the St. James Assiniboia Minor Hockey Association.

Our association is dedicated to leading the advancement of minor hockey for all individuals by ensuring meaningful opportunities and enjoyable experiences in a safe and sportsperson-like environment.

Thanks to our website committee members Eric Paas, Shawn Edinger and Bryan Meyer for putting together this new site which will continue to evolve in the next few months. We hope the SJAMHA site will be a source of pertinent information for all hockey families in the association.

Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic has interrupted the conclusion of the 2019-20 season and the start of the spring camps, leagues and possibly summer programs. Our association is meeting with Hockey Winnipeg members to look at possible scenarios in case of further interruption to the start of the 2020-2021 season. All important dates and try-out information that you see on this site in the next few weeks will be under the assumption that programming will start as usual after September long weekend.

With the early close of Allard Arena we will possibly be able to open the facility in mid August for preseason skill camps. More information about this will follow in the near future.

On behalf of the twenty two volunteer members of the SJAMHA, stay safe, and  pay extra attention to your kids in these unprecedented times. We look forward to better times ahead this summer.
