Kinsmen Allard Arena, located at 80 Allard Avenue in St. James Assiniboia is looking for a Lacrosse Arena Attendant to work for the month of May and June. The position requires the individual to work in the evenings, 4-5 days a week with a minimum of 3 hours per shift.

The ideal Attendant will work independently and must be able adhere to and maintain safe work practices for all tasks.

As the Lacrosse Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Opening the building 45 minutes before first floor time
  • Turn on arena lights upon opening
  • Assist all guests in a respectful and supportive manner
  • Liase with the Chairman Allard Arena and President SJAMHA when issues arise
  • Facility maintenance including a variety of tasks such as cleaning dressing rooms, washrooms, cleaning the main lobby and stands
  • Once a week use the floor machine to clean the playing surface (Arena Floor)
  • Turn off arena lights and lockup of building after last Lacrosse floor time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years+ as this is a non-supervised position
  • Knowledge of Lacrosse considered an asset
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
